A lot of blown down from the stormy winter still plague a lot of trails through our lush forests. The Mine Creek day use area along the Snoqualmie River was no exception. Small branches were cleared and logs were sawed and removed. Now visitors to the Mine Creek Day Use Area in the beautiful Middle Fork can walk the trails without dodging branches and hopping over logs.

The winter storms also battered bridges; the bridge pictured below is located on a loop near the Mount Si Trailhead.
